Shri VK Jain, the renounced consultant and author of more than 130 books in the field of building services, Information technology and Management and currently our managing director was the first engineer who introduced the concept of undertaking planning, designing and development of construction activities through Computers. while working on CPWD projects and later with M/s CP Kukreja Associates and Hospitech Management and Consultants Private Limited. He had widely travelled world over acquiring knowledge of latest techniques in construction projects of varius types and magnitudes in places like Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, Washington, San-Francisco, San Diego, Sydney, Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong, London, Paris, Brussells, Amsterdom, Cologne,Frankfurt ubai, Kuala Lumpur, Zurich, and Phuket. (Thailand), Kathmandu (Nepal) etc.
He retired as Supt. Engr. CPWD Electrical (having more than 35 years experience (List of projects handled in CPWD at various level is attached for ready reference). After retirement He had worked as project Coordinator with M/s CP Kukreja and Associates (About 18 months) and then as Chief Consultant cum project coordinator with M/s Hospitech Management Consultants Pvt. Ltd for four years.

I have so far :

(1) Worked as Project Coordinator for the Construction Project of Vardhaman Mahaveer Medical College Safdarjang Hospital New-Delhi with estimated cost of approx 50 crores including Residential Blocks. The electrical works included Internal and External electrical works, Fire Alarm System, CCTV, EAPBX, Substation and Diesel Generating Set Works. As project Manager I had to interface HSCC and provide them submission, tender and working stage drawings, Estimate, BOQ and backup design details.

(2) Designed detailed estimate/drawings/specifications and BOQ L.T. Electrical Works for Production and Utility Block at Plot No. 395 and 396.These included Internal and External electrical works, Fire Alarm System, CCTV, EAPBX, Substation and PLC cum Diesel Generating Set Works.

(3) Prepared detailed estimate/drawings/specifications and BOQ for Electrical/Electronic and BMS works in the most intelligent CAG Building at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg New-Delhi. This CPWD project included electrical works worth 18 crores and included Electric Substation with intelligent switchgear, PLC controlled Diesel Generating set, Intelligent Centralized Uninterrupted Power Supply, Intelligent Lighting control for providing more personnel productivity, LED based facade lighting, Presentation and electronic facilities, Passenger and Passenger cum freight Elevators,
EAPBX, Wireless LAN and VPN, ISDN based Video-conferencing , Integrated Building Management System with EMS, Paging cum Car Calling System and music etc.

(4) Prepared detailed estimate/drawings/specifications and BOQ for Electrical/Electronic and BMS works in the most prestigious and India's biggest shopping mall cum city center having (so-called) 7 star hotel being constructed as joint venture of M/s Today Homes and Ludhiana Improvement Trust that will have more than 0.4 million Sq. Meter of constructed area. Prepared concept report and estimate for this complex for External and LED based façade Lighting, Intelligent and addressable Fire Alarm System, CCTV Based Surveillance System, Access Control System with Biometrics and Barrier ,Conferencing/Projection Facility in banquet hall, Electronic Private Automatic Branch Exchange (IP READY), Digital Display, LAN Networking and VPN, Integrated Building Management System (IBMS) and EMS, Car Management and calling system, Paging cum music facility

Worked as Chief Consultant Engineer and project manager electrical with Hospitech Management and Consultants Private Limited NewDelhi and so far designed and got the works executed for complete College cum Hospital complex with Hostel, staff quarters, animal house for following projects :
